Luce in Italian means light. I guess you can see why it was named like that. Luce is a double solar panel powered laptop-pc made from clear polycarbonate. The solar panels at the top and bottom provide the power for the laptop to work and it will continuously recharging during the day (standby or being used). This wireless device is cable-free, powered by nature, and represent the future for a sustainable development focused on user’s real needs. After mega earthquake in Japan, the designer realized how important to develop natural self-powered devices for the future. Luce is also one of the projects from Fujitsu Design Competition 2011.

BMW has launched the 328 Hommage concept, a design
study concerned with a speedster, at the Villa d’Este. Taking its inspiration from the legendary 328 model, some of its awe-inspiring features include carbon-fiber body with asymmetric windscreen. The 328 Hommage holds the same layout. It is an exceptional 2-seater
roadster having a front-mounted engine with a lightweight construction. The 328 Hommage BMW is unlike the 1930’s model in terms of its make, the usage of carbon fiber reinforced plastic. The exterior design boasts a surface treatment related to the one followed by BMW for its newest concepts, with its design incorporating an assortment of elements, which creates a visual tie to the original model. Thanks to the usage of
materials as well as freely suspended elements including 2 iPhones included in the dashboard via special aluminum
housing having a silhouette of classic stopwatches , that expresses a sense of lightness in terms of its interior
structure. Clear-cut lines run across the sedan body’s taut surfaces. Overall, the 328 Hommage model is very awe-inspiring.

An innovative Fusion Model has been unveiled by the Christchurch Company that already developed the electric folding YikeBike. This new model is slightly heavy than the innate carbon fibre bike, however it is slightly lighter on the pocket. While the archetype is made out of carbon fibre, the Fusion frame as well as the structural parts are made out of alloy and strengthened polymer composite, which clearly marks the differentiation between the two. Weight approximately 14kg in comparison to the 10.8kg carbon fibre bike, the Fusion bile costs just US$2000, much cheaper than the
carbon fiber bike which sells for US$3000. People always wanted to buy a bike via a distributor so that they could test the same. This was the main reason for why the company unveiled the Fusion model at a much lower price point. Nevertheless, the fusion model would certainly meet the demands of the people. The YikeBike was groundbreaking at a concept and at execution level, with sound programs to drive mass market adoption, said the judges.

SÜZ-GEÇ has put an end to the problems caused due to the traditional funnel used as an indispensible kitchen appliance. Formed by the habitué funnel cut into 2 pieces vertically, the only difference between the 2 funnels is that one does the same work as that of a regular funnel, while the other
features a surface having petite holes in order to perform filtration. The use of this surface is primarily to lessen the
number of steps involved during the process by allowing the liquid to be separated from the little particles. The silicon pieces
present around the hatchways of the half funnels makes the opening a complete piece when put together. It fits well into the mouth of
the bottles, regardless of it being made of 2 conical parts. Furthermore, the need to hold the funnel plus the bottle is completely eliminated when the user tries to pour the water into the volume. Existing over the silicon part are
the blanks, taking the shape of straps. These blanks helps block the formation of air bubbles when pouring the liquid. SÜZ-GEÇ can either be stored side-by-side or upside down in its own package.
